405 was perhaps the original viral short film phenomenon. Five years before YouTube, 405 was viewed by over 10 million people in a few short weeks.
Created in 3 months by Branit and Jeremy Hunt, 405 is still taught in film schools as an example proficiency in short film story-telling.

Big Red Bow was a self-produced spec spot for Disney Star Wars Weekends. It went on to be viewed a million times in its first week (more than the actual spot Disney made).
Produced with Through-A-Glass Productions, this funny spot has found a continuous life on the internet since then.

After the viral success of 405, this was a change of pace from comedic/action to sci-fi/romance. World Builder also drew tens of millions of views in a short period of time. and led to other great opportunities. World Builder's virtual world, digital holograms and HUD's predated many visually and thematically similar films such as Inception and Transcendence.
Shot in one day on a greenscreen stage, Branit spent a year modeling, animating and compositing this 8 minute short.

This opening tease of a much larger feature film was an internal hiatus project for Branit FX. It was produced and completed in a few short months. It has had successful festival run and its full feature-length script has been highly ranked on the Black List and a quarter finalist in the Page Screenplay competition.

Bully Mech began as a very personal anti-bullying PSA spec spot. It is a powerful science fiction allegory where a tiny girl in a threatening dystopian world is befriended by an enormous fighting machine. Together they find strength and confidence to move past those that torment them.
It has been optioned and is in development with Imagination Park Entertainment as a feature film, so I am sorry I cannot share more awesome imagery at this time.

Seat Kicker is an original idea created by Branit for a short subject. A Twilight Zoney horror mash-up about an all-powerful yet uncontrollable little girl and 100's of terrified passengers in the most precarious of locations, an airplane far out over the Pacific.
Carrie meets United 93.
This project is back available after the expiration of its original option agreement as a feature film.
To fulfil our filmmaking achievement, the Cub Scouts of Pack 3777 and I made the most awesome Star Wars film we could imagine. The boys contributed story ideas and storyboards. They acted and crewed our film shoot, learning aspects of camera and lighting and greenscreen.
Be prepared, and may the force be with you.

Client: Reconciliation Services
Without a simple I.D., you can't be employed, drive a car, apply for food stamps or even enroll your children in school. We take for granted the simple piece of plastic in our pocket, but it is the key to unlocking most parts of our society.
In most states you can't get an I.D. without your birth certificate, and it is difficult to get your birth certificate without a valid I.D.. These seemingly small problems are huge hurdles for homeless and displaced people trying to proove who they can really be to the world.
This is a spot I was honored to make for Reconciliation Services and their campaign to raise money and awareness.

On 5/30/15 I put this little video on YouTube. Within 4 days it had been viewed 2 million times and had been covered as a legitimate news story in over 100 publications. Soon, I had to let the cat out of the bag and fess up to the digital trickery.
